Job Qualification Requirements:
Must have at least 3 full months of experience pruning trees, landscaping, ground maintenance, fence/gate repairs, trimming plants, removing/disposing debris or tree limbs, repair of equipment such as bush cutter or lawn mower. Must know how to operate lawn mower, trimmer, grass cutter, edging machine. Must know when equipment needs maintenance or repair. Ability to climb and get down the ladder. There will be NO on-the-job-training provided.

1. This job opportunity is for a temporary , full-time position.
2. work hours. Employees hired under this announcement will work on full time employment at least 35 hours per week
3.Three-Fourths Guarantee: Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of
employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified
in the work contract or in its extensions, if any.
4.Transportation and Subsistence: If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will
provide, reimburse, or advance payment for the worker’s transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to
the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will
provide or pay for the worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the
worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another
employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker’s voluntary abandonment of employment. The
amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier
for the distances involved.
5. Daily Transportation: Workers will be provided with daily transportation to and from the worksite in
compliance with all applicable Federal and Commonwealth laws and regulations.
6. Overtime hours will be available to the workers
for every overtime hours worked at overtime rate of 1.5.
7. Workers will NOT be provided with on-the-job training
8. Employer-Provided Tools and Equipment: Workers will be provided, without charge or deposit charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the duties assigned.
9. Workers will be provided assistance in securing board, lodging, or other facilities.

Primary duties and responsibilities include but not limited to: Mowing and trimming lawns, using hand or power mowers Applying fertilizers, herbicides, or insecticides onto grass, shrubs, or trees, using hand or automatic sprayers Watering lawns, trees, and plants, using portable sprinkler systems or by programming irrigation systems Maintaining and repairing tools, equipment, and structures such as fences, gates, or benches, using hand or power tools Planting and seeding new lawns, flowers, trees, and shrubs Pruning and trimming trees, shrubs, hedges, and grass to provide clearance for sidewalks or to remove damaged sections Setting up, preparing and clearing sites for events and functions Raking leaves, removing litter and performing composting and aerating duties Monitoring and maintaining the health of plants by identifying any pests or diseases and controlling these through the best practice methods available Conducting minor repairs and maintenance procedures on equipment utilized in groundskeeping. Other minor building repairs such as caulking walls, reapplying grout on tiles, replacing light bulbs, or painting walls, faucet replacements, recover open outlets, covering holes on walls, replacing broken/old doors, scraping rust or dirt from a structure, etc. and other general building and ground maintenance related work.
